Women In Creative business

Proudly Supported by  Metro Arts & bRUNSWICK Mechanics Institute

FB BANNER October.jpg

This month we are collaborating with The Eye Creative Magazine to bring you a panel discussion all about female-led creative businesses and the women who run them. Joining our panel will be some very influential Melbourne-based makers; fashion designer Tara Whalley, macramé artist Maggie May, collage artist and illustrator Alice Lindstrom and photographer Melissa Cowan. At this panel you can expect to hear about the trials and triumphs these women have experienced in their creative careers plus some practical tips for budding creatives.

This panel will not sugar-coat life running a creative business and will instead be an honest conversation about the reality of running a creative business as a woman in 2018. More info about our panellists will be released next week!

Limited early bird tickets are on sale now!

 OUR PANELS AND PARTNERS
Every month mous magazine hosts panels where industry professionals will answer questions and provide insight into their field.

This month we are teaming up with the fantastic people at The Eye Creative to bring you this panel. The Eye Creative is a creative hub and magazine, somewhere, where creative minds alike can explore, share, collaborate and celebrate the wild adventure that is art.

This year, our panel discussions will take place in both Brisbane and Melbourne each month. Once again, our Brisbane panel discussions will be supported by our continuing partnership with the fantastic people at Metro Arts. This year, we are also very excited to announce a new partnership with Brunswick Mechanics Institute, which will be the home of our Melbourne panel discussions.
